Y8 Learn to Learn Workshop
On Monday, 11th September, Year 8 had their first 'Learn to learn' Day. The aim of this day, was to enhance our students' learning in a variety of different areas. We had two external speakers conduct interactive workshops with the students. The workshops that took place were ‘Impactful Presentations’ by Michelle Wachs, HRIS Project Manager at KPMG and ‘Discover Self Awareness, Communication and Team Collaboration’ by Rishmie, professional co-active coach. We also had our PDV mentor, SENCO team and School Librarian working with the students on reading, learning difficulties and much more. These workshops should enable our students to develop the skills they need for a successful start into the new academic year.
