UKMT Mathematics Challenge

Year 12 and 13 students recently took part in the Senior Mathematical Challenge; a 90 minute paper that tests problem solving and logic skills.

Over 100 000 pupils from schools across the UK and internationally returned scripts for the Challenge with the top 60% of candidates receiving certificates. The top 10% were awarded a gold certificate, the next 20% silver and the next 30% bronze. 

From St George’s 12 students were successful in achieving certificates. Congratulations to Bowen L (best in school)and Andrzej B, gold certificate winners; also Archisha B, Costas K, Emanuele M, Alia M, Balthazar M and Antoni T, silver certificate winners; and Sofya S, Lieuwe T, Fedor K and Daria I, bronze certificate winners.
