Pinwheels and planting for Kitchen Garden Club

  • Secondary News

The Kitchen Garden Club have been busy this half term making bird seed balls and hanging feeders from milk cartons and old food netting.

The group has also been baking tomato pinwheels and has planted some herbs and vegetable seedlings in outside planters to give them a head start for the spring.

The club is searching for a garden centre to sponsor its initiatives as more seeds and quality soil are needed to top up raised beds for a bumper harvest like last year. If you can help please contact Mrs Mewha.
