A group of former St George's students joined their drama teacher, Mrs Williams, in Edinburgh during August to stage a show at the Edinburgh Fringe 2022.
Over the past two years, Mrs Williams and eight of her drama students wrote and produced “Names I Have Known You By”, a modern tragedy about a couple dealing with loss by replaying their memories as a coping mechanism.
Mrs Williams described the experience in Edinburgh as incredible. "The cast worked well together and enjoyed being together both on and off stage," she said.
"Being in Edinburgh during August is incredibly exciting for any artist. It is vibrant, colourful and exciting. The whole city is filled with artists and performers for the month.
"Creative networking, sharing work and ideas, and possible project ideas with other people from the creative industries is thrilling and confidence boosting."
The show received glowing reviews from the audience members and the support provided by family members of the cast was a real boost, she said.
