Excellent IGCSE, A/S and A-Level Results

St George’s International School students have achieved excellent results in IGCSE, A/S and A-Level exams despite a year challenged by the coronavirus pandemic. The School is delighted that 35 of our graduating students will be taking up places at university in the United Kingdom, Italy, the United States and Hong Kong. 13 students will be attending a Russell group university, 4 at the University of Warwick.

Secondary exam results, 2021

A-Level Results 

  • 76% of examinations were graded A* or A 

  • 99% of examinations were graded A* to C 

Our students achieved a 100% pass rate, 58 out of 105 entries achieved the highest grade possible, an A*. 76% entries were graded A* or A, an increase of 8% from last year and 99% of our students achieved a grade C or above. 

 

A/S Level Results 

  • 84% of examinations were graded A/B(*) 

  • 95% of examinations were graded A to C 

84% of entries were graded A or B, a 12% increase from last year. 95% of examination papers achieved a grade C or above. 104 out of the 153 students taking A/S Levels received the highest grade possible, an A.* 

(*) At A/S there is no A* grade available. 

 

I/GCSE Results 

  • 58% of examinations were graded 9-8 A**/A* 

  • 74% of results were graded 9-7 A**/A 

  • 98% of examinations were graded A** to C 

A total of 371 I/GCSE entries were submitted in 20 different subjects, 98% of students achieved grades A** to C, whilst 58% of all entries were graded A or above. 98% of our students achieved at least 5 grades from A** to C. These students will now progress on Year 12 where they will study their chosen A/S level subjects.
