British Physics Olympiad – Senior Challenge

A selection of Year 12 physics students recently competed in the British Physics Olympiad – Senior Challenge. This was a series of particularly challenging questions that stretched the students beyond the normal A-level curriculum with questions designed to explore their ability to apply knowledge and skills to more unusual styles of questions than they would normally be exposed to. The students appeared to enjoy the complex nature of the challenge, despite its difficulty. Of the 8 students involved, 4 achieved the ‘Bronze Award’ and 2 achieved the ‘Silver Award’, all of which were impressive results. Well done to all of those who participated!
