Bonding day for Year 7

As part of their welcome to secondary school, Year 7 participated in a bonding day with activities designed to encourage teamwork, build resilience and provide opportunities to make new friends. 

The students started the day completing team-building challenges in their tutor groups. These included 'getting-to-know-you' games, the lava field challenge, a scavenger hunt and a competition to build and fly paper planes using only one hand. After the break they split in to smaller groups to compete for their house in team challenges.

This is the first time St George's has run a bonding day for Year 7 and we hope that the students had as much fun as the teachers.
