Year 2s embark on journey across Africa

Our Year 2 children have embarked on an African adventure as they begin their new topic, The Secret of the Rain: Tales from Africa. As we journey through Africa, last week’s focus was on Nigeria, and we were fortunate to welcome some special visitors—two of our Year 2 parents, Lanre Animashaun and Osemhen Akhibi, along with Miss Lola, who joined us for the afternoon.

Together, they took part in our carousel of activities, where we enjoyed Nigerian music, dancing, learning the language and listening to traditional tales. The highlight for many was tasting chin chin, a delicious Nigerian snack that everyone loved.
