Wartime women under spotlight

Year 5 students and their Luxembourgish teacher Mrs Frisch-Koopmans attended a workshop on 'Luxembourgish women in the Second World War between resistance, prosecution and imprisonment' on Wednesday, 17th May.
The workshop, conducted by Dr Kathrin Mess from the Luxembourg Institute of History and Social Affairs, explored the theme of friendship and humour, and the ways Luxembourgish women resisters supported each other to cope with everyday life in concentration camps.
