Students have 'souper' time at disco

Year 6 students hosted a “Soup Disco” on Thursday, 17 October, turning pumpkins they had grown earlier in the year into homemade soup. The soup was then donated to Bistrot Social Le Courage, a local shelter in Bonnevoie.

In addition to the soup, students made sandwiches, crafted greeting cards and collected toiletry supplies. Extra food was donated by Food Sharing Luxembourg, a local charity that works to reduce food waste.

The students also collected pumpkin seeds to pass on to Year 5 students, continuing the tradition of growing pumpkins for next year’s soup disco.
