Primary students have begun making Kleeshen cards in their art classes
Each year St George's students join with the AWCL (American Women’s Club Luxembourg ) to create seasonal cards for children who are less fortunate than themselves. The cards accompany a gift that the AWCL purchase for hundreds of children every year. The hard-working group fundraise all year round to bring make this happen. The presents are distributed on December 6th when Kleeshan traditionally brings gifts to children in Luxembourg.
When we started, more than 10 years ago, we were making about 300 cards. In recent years, this number has increased to 800+ and growing, sadly.
