Finding maths in the forest

As part of Maths, Reception classes have been looking at 'time', discussing seasons and how things appear during different times of the year.

To explore this concept, the classes have taken day trips to the forest to observe changes in nature, signs of animal houses and minibeasts, and different colours. 

What a wonderful way to spend a morning of learning!
