Chocolate factory popular with Nursery

Nursery students visited Namur bakery in the final weeks of last term, learning how chocolate is made, but most importantly practising how to walk safely and be responsible.

The students were amazed by the chocolate factory and its machines, and listened carefully to the bakers explaining how they make chocolate.

The students were able to taste some of the chocolates and were surprised to learn that the sweet treats are sent around the world, even as far as Japan.

They were also amazed by a chocolate nutcracker on display, which took 30 hours to make.
