St George's to host Beyond COP21 Symposium

St George’s is looking forward to hosting the 34th Beyond COP21 Symposium. This event was first hosted in Dubai 2016 and has taken place across 18 different countries. Luxembourg is the latest country to get to host such a prestigious event. 7 Luxembourgish schools will be taking part, bringing their students and skills to help in a large array of workshops which range from upcycling T-shirts to constructing your very own eco-structure. Around 180 students from all over Luxembourg will be working together and learning about the pressing issues of our time – Climate Change and Sustainability. These subjects are vital for everyone, as they will affect all our futures. This Symposium will teach the students attending the problems we face and some solutions our speakers have to offer.
