Repair Club raises €133 on Earth Day
- Eco News
A team of Year 7 boys has been inspired to set up an Eco-Repair Club to repair electrical items following Global Issues lessons and a discussion about e-waste.
This team baked goods to sell on Earth Day and raised €132.74. Half of the funds will be used to buy tools to repair items, and the remainder will be donated to Sea Shepherd Luxembourg. Following the bake sale the club invited experts from CELL to speak about the work of Repair.lu. The club plans to run some repair workshops. If you are interested in participating, contact sustainability@st-georges.lu.
Year 13 students organised for Sea Shepherd to visit and present on the important action they take to protect seas and oceans. Visit https://seashepherd.lu/ for information about the group's work.
