Campus

The St George's campus has had an incredible evolution since the school first opened in 1990, where it shared a local school building in Luxembourg-Bonnevoie. Since then it has moved and grown on several sites, with the present site at Hamm being the home of its campus since 2008.

Click on the buildings below to take a look at the school's excellent facilities.

Hamilius

The Hamilius building, constructed in 2008, is now home to all Primary classrooms and Hamilius Hall, where special events are held. The building is named after Jean Hamilius, a former Luxembourgian politician, government minister, Olympic runner, and former member of St George’s Patronage Group.

An addition to the building was constructed and opened in 2010. Its features included the current gym, music room, additional classrooms, and beautifully landscaped playground areas.

Constructed for St George’s growing Secondary School, it is home to classrooms for large and small group learning, an ICT lab and Art/Design Technology classrooms. Lentz Link

Barthel

The Barthel building was named after Luxembourg’s first Olympic gold medallist Josy Barthel. The building has been in use since the beginning of the 2011/2012 academic year and houses the school canteen, classrooms and staff offices, ICT suites, and science labs. Barthel Link

Zinnen

Named after the composer of Luxembourg’s national anthem, the Zinnen Building is an incredible new facility for the students of St George’s. Under construction during the 2015-2016 academic year, its grand opening was a part of the 25th Anniversary celebration and it was ready to welcome students in September of 2016. It is a strong symbol of the School’s dedication to providing a purposeful, state-of-the-art educational environment. Zinnen Link
