Arts and Crafts Students will work with a variety tools and materials to develop their skills in art.
Art and Media Club This will involve creating artistic pieces using computer programmes such as photography and editing photographs, making and editing short films and making comics on computer etc.,
Basketball The club will offer children a variety of basketball skills. The focus will be on learning basic basketball rules and tactics. It will also allow children to improve their coordination through dribbling, shooting and defensive drills.
Drama Students will learn skills of drama and script work, whilst working towards an end of year performance.
Football Club Saturday football involves fitness training, ball skills and matches. Players must have boots with moulded or plastic studs. No metal studs are permitted on the all weather pitch. Wear layers of clothing suitable for the weather. Bring a drink and lots of enthusiasm and energy! End of term match played against parents and staff.
Kwik Cricket This game is a fun way to introduce the students to cricket as well as improving their team-building skills through group interaction and participation.
Maths Club This club is aimed at helping children with difficulties with basic number skills. We play a variety of games and activities to help gain confidence and speed in recalling number bonds and multiplication tables.

Netball Club The students will practice the skills you need to play netball such as shooting, positioning, teamwork, throwing and catching. Learning the rules of netball and take part in a match and trying out the 3 main netball positions: shooters, defenders and centre.
Ocarina An Ocarina is a small, blown instrument that comes from South America and makes a gentle soothing sound. They are a fun instrument to learn to play and listen to and children quickly learn to play a tune.
Recorder Learning to play the Recorder is often the first step to learning an orchestral or other instrument. These groups are for players of all levels, from beginners all the way to those who have been learning for some time. All students will be placed in a lunchtime group according to their experience and ability. Mrs Duxbury and Mr Heley will be leading these groups. Beginners, those with some experience and advanced players all welcome!
Rounders This is a great outdoors sport, which encompasses accuracy and speed as well as hand-eye co-ordination. Rounders creates a team spirit and children thoroughly enjoy the healthy competition.
Rugby If you are new to the sport, or have some experience and are enthusiastic about playing rugby, then this afterschool club is perfect for you. We practice passing, kicking, defensive and offensive skills and hopefully some tackling. It’s not about knocking each other to the ground – rugby is a sport that requires fitness and intelligence in equal part, leading to a hopefully enjoyable session to promote a good team spirit and improved skills and coordination. It is open to children from Years 6 & 7 and for the latter group is perfect preparation for rugby in P.E. during the second half of the year.
Science Club An opportunity for children to carry out investigations, explore their own curiosity and initiative by creating their own Science projects.
Tennis The students will practice tennis on a spongy surface with soft balls. It will enable them to learn the basic rules and improve their hand-eye co-ordination.
Volleyball This club will teach the students the basic volleyball game. It will also improve the co-ordination skills and will enable the students to practice working as a team.
Yoga In yoga club we will learn to be calm and relaxed; we will do gentle stretches and some basic gentle yoga poses using themes such as animals and nature. We will also follow stories designed for children through yoga poses.
